The House
We do not sell perfumes. We create signatures.
Stéphanie de Bruijn
I was born in the Grasse region, the world's cradle of perfumery. I grew up among scents that already decided everything: memory, emotion, the intimate. It is there that I fell in love with perfume.
Paris became my city. In my atelier at 52 rue de l'Université, in the heart of the 7th arrondissement, I compose each fragrance by hand — and I sign it. Nothing here is delegated.
My art is the art of blending: the patient search for harmony, drawn from more than four hundred raw materials, to find — or to compose — the fragrance that is exactly right.
“I do not simply create a perfume. I seek to translate a personality, an emotion, a memory into an olfactory signature.”Stéphanie de Bruijn — Perfumer
A perfume is not an accessory. It is a memory worn on the skin — a trace of yourself that no one else exhales.
I do not work from a marketing brief. I work from a memory, from a raw material that obsesses me, from a sentence that will not leave me. The perfume comes afterwards: it is the written trace of something that happened before it.
This is why every fragrance of the house bears a name and a face, rather than a trend. We do not create products to launch. We compose signatures to wear.
Made in Paris
Every perfume of the house is born in the same place: my Parisian atelier. Nothing here is industrialised. Each formula is composed, smelled, reworked, sometimes set aside for months, until it says exactly what it must say.
Conceived in Paris and crafted in small batches, my fragrances are produced in limited quantities — so that the quality of composition is never compromised by volume.
This gesture cannot be delegated. Every formula that bears my name has been composed by me, smelled by me, signed by me.
L'Art de se parfumer — the art of wearing perfume.
- 01
A perfume is laid down, never rubbed. Spray it on the pulse points — wrists, base of the neck, the crook of the elbow — where the warmth of the body brings it to life.
- 02
On moisturised skin it lasts longer. Never rub your wrists together: it shatters the top notes.
- 03
Keep the bottle away from light and heat, far from the bathroom, so the composition stays true over time.
- 04
Find the dose that resembles you. The right perfume is the one you no longer smell on yourself — but that others remember.
Our Ingredients
More than four hundred raw materials make up my palette. Some are rare; others simple, almost ordinary, but used in a way one does not expect.
What interests me is never the luxury of the ingredient: it is the truth of the accord. An iris that truly smells of the cold powder of a winter morning. A leather that smells of skin, not of the shop. Nothing is chosen to impress. Everything is chosen to be exact.
The signature
A perfume of the house always bears a signature: mine, on every bottle. It is not a sales argument — it is a commitment. As an author answers for every line they publish, I answer for every perfume I sign.
Limited series, composed and signed in Paris. No anonymous collection, no invisible “house nose”. A person, a name, a vision — on the door as on the bottle.
And for every bespoke creation, your formula is kept: you can have it made again, identically, as often as you wish.
